Pioneer Head Unit is Whirring and Whizzing!?

I have a new pioneer head unit which I stupidly managed to mess up. Accidentally connected up my external amp for my 6×9′s to the speaker output from the head unit. I think i have fried the internal amp on the stereo as there is nothing being outputted from either the front or rear speaker output. However, the front, back and subwoofer auxiliary outputs are working but they have a weird whirring and whizzing sound coming from them even when the volume is at 0. I have to put up the volume to about 50 so that my subwoofer drowns out this awful noise. Any help on what could be wrong and where I can get this sort of thing fixed will be well appreciated. Its not covered by warranty as it was bought a while ago and it was bought in Australia.

sounds like you have engine noise…. try a ground loop isolater its like a bandade for that doesnt fix the problem just covers it up. ground noise is caused by a few things. power wires ran over the engine, bad wiring in the car, bad diode in the alternator. take it to a shop and have it checked out to make sure your alternator isnt going bad
