Im building a 83 22r can i use domed pistons and mill the head .030 and deck the block.030?
It is a long rod motor out of an 83 toyota celica. Its fuel Injected. Single timing chain. I am building for a high performance application. .010 oversized rod and main bearing. LCEngeeniring Pro/Street cam. Larger injectors.Cold air intake. And oversized throtle body. Was also wondering if any one could give me an estimate on HP.
Don’t know that engine at all, but domed pistons AND milled heads can lead to bent valves/holed pistons. Before you fire it up, better clay the combustion chamber, just in case ….
